What the heck is a Slay-A-Thon?

Who the heck are you people?

It's a full day of watching some of the best of the best episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", meeting and laughing with other fans, and having a great time while simultaneously raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. You are not required to attend the entire event. Stay for the day or stop by for your favorite episodes.

Now, you may ask "How can watching 'Buffy' and 'Angel' raise money? If that were the case I'd already be rich. Hooray!"

We're able to raise money because people who attend the marathon get family, co-workers, friends, and others to "sponsor" them - just like with a walk-a-thon, or other fundraising events of that type. Add the auction proceeds to the sponsor dollars and we can make a substantial donation to Make-A-Wish.
