Buffy taught us that “the hardest thing in this world is to live in it.” That’s especially true for children suffering from terminal illness. Use this form any time of the year to be a hero. 100% of donations through our website go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.

”I love Slay-a-thon because its such a great atmosphere of people which have become have become like family. Plus it give back to a cause that is very important to me. Make a Wish made my dream come true at one point. Now its my job to help give back and make sure that dream happens for a child.”

Ashley Ingracia, A Former 'Wish Kid'

”Slay-A-Thon is a wonderful benefit for a fantastic cause. It brings a group of people together who enjoy the same things and gives them the opportunity to help kids who are looking for their dreams to come true.”

”I love Slay-a-thon because I got to meet awesome people who love the same shows that I do. Also, I love it because it is always fun, there is awesome things to be won/bought, and it is cool to meet the celebrity guest. I love that it is for a great cause. And, I love how it gave me a creative outlet.”

”We spend much of the year celebrating the joy and passion we have towards those things that inspire us. Slay-a-thon allows us to take some of that passion and use it to help kids who really need to experience a little more joy in their life.”

The Slay-A-Thon is free to anyone who wants to attend. We watch episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," music videos, and clips from our favorite stars, and we have games and auctions. Attendees are encouraged to make a donation as well as getting others to sponsor them like a real marathon would. Click here to grab your Donation Sheet. We take cash, checks made out to The Make-A-Wish Foundation, credit cards and PayPal for donations. Donations are fun to get! Ask your family, friends, and co-workers. If your company has a matching plan, use it! All donations are tax deductible. Restrictions: Guests under the age of 21 (legal drinking age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (a person 25 years of age or older who agrees to be responsible for the conduct and safety of the underage guests). One parent or guardian can accompany up to a maximum of four underage guests. Underage guests must remain with their parent/guardian. The other guests appreciate this and D&B’s insurance carrier requires it.
